Design

The design phase is where we get down to the fine details of the project. One of the things we pride ourselves on is our customer service and in this phase we really get to interact with our customers.

Pre-measurement

Pre-measurement is necessary to get an idea of the space where we will install the stone. Done at your location, it helps us provide the most accurate estimate. We always bring samples of the different varieties of stone so you can see the way they look under your lighting. We answer any questions you may have about any aspect of the project. We make it easy for our customers so we can provide other services in addition to those dealing with the stone.

Edge Design

Edge design is one of those overlooked details choosing one that fits the style of your home can really make an impact.

As we tell our customers, one aspect that makes us a cut above the rest is the way we finish edges.  Both in gloss and color, we have the capability to create beautiful edges that match the surface.  Unfortunately, with the way stone slabs are processed nowadays, it is sometimes difficult to have the edge match the surface finish (gloss and color) of the tops.  But through our research to constantly improve the quality of our fabrication, we have implemented techniques to counteract this issue.

Cutouts

We provide an itemized estimate so you can see the true cost of your project. We will never overcharge for cutouts.

Template

Template is pretty much as is sounds. It lets you visualize your project on the slab during layout and is necessary for fabrication.

Layout

Because each natural stone's movement is unique, we like to have our customers involved in the layout on the slab. That way they can pick where the variations will be in their project.

We invite customers to come and layout their kitchen with us after templates are done.  We want you to be a part of the job throughout this process, because it is you after all that will be living with the finished product.  When cutting the slabs, usually the seam pieces will not come from the same slab.  Therefore is it very important to try and match the movement and grain as much as possible.  This is another reason why we like for our customers to be involved with the layout.
